Well, not really. So I bought a swing for when Ollie was a baby, but it never did swing. Really irritated me, but I guess not enough for me to do anything about it. Well, a couple months ago, a friend of mine gave me her travel swing. It worked great! So then I had the working and the not working swing....

Fast foward to today....My sister is visiting from ND with her 3 horribly rotten children. They destroy EVERYTHING in sight and my sister does nothing to stop them. So her son, who is almost 2, got into the travel swing (which had been returned to me not 5 mins earlier by my SIL) and he broke it. I don't know how he did it, but he pulled or pushed one of the side arms off...so it doesn't swing. Dh tried to fix it...but you can't get into the actually place where you would need to to be able to fix it.

Now I have two broken swings. So I ordered me a new one and it had better work, too.

Oooh I would be pissed! She should be the one buying a new one for you...I hate when parents allow their kids to act unruly and just do nothing about it!

I know! But I can't just say, "hey, you need to buy me a new one." She's not the kind of person to just speak up and say, "hey, I'm so sorry, we'll get you a new one." And I would feel like a ****** telling her she needs too. Plus, she's expecting and doesn't have anything for this baby because she gave it all away after her last was born...so she's strapped anyways. Not that I'm not strapped...ugh....it's just one of those complicated family things that you can't actually do anything about....except rant and rave to other people.

If my kids broke anything...I would totally replace it...it just seems wrong not too. Too bad we can't all think alike.....
