Omg... Friday and Saturday morning I woke up and stretched and got a MAJOR charlie horse in my right calf. Ever since then both my right and left calves hurt like crazy. Like they feel bruised... it really sucks. It hurts to walk! UGH!!!

I had the same thing happen Tuesday night of last week. Usually if I get them they go away within 10 seconds. This one lasted like 40 seconds and you could feel the huge knot in my leg. DH tried to massage it out, but it hurt too much for him to touch. I was sore for about 3 days after that! Worse charlie horse of my life and I blame it on being pregnant!

Hope you get relief soon!

When I got them bad with DD, my OB told me to eat more potassium - bananas, dried apricots, etc. Good luck! Pregnant Charlie Horses are the worst!

Yeah, these ones lasted at least 30 seconds. Last night I tried to have DH massage my calves cuz they still hurt, but he couldn't do it very much cuz it was just too painful.

I've been getting them when I stretch in bed--- but I've noticed if I make a conscious effort to flex my toes (instead of point) when I stretch, it kind of prevents it from coming on full force.......

! I only get charlie horses in bed. I was talking to a nurse about it and she told me that if it happens when you are in bed---then get out of bed and stand up---and it will go right away. So, now I always stand up after I get a charlie horse and for me it actually does go right away---it works!

Yes, I hate Charlie Horses. I got THREE the other night in my left leg and also one in the sensitive part of the inside of my right foot.

Then I got out of bed too fast and got another one in my left calf. It hurt for daaaaaaaaaaaaaays.

Yes, I am getting these too and mostly at night when I stretch out in bed. Sometimes they are so bad that I am sore for a couple days. Never had them before PG.
