I'll be induced at 39 weeks if still pregnant then. won't decide until my 38.5 week appt though on that. the reason is, my last baby was 5-pushing in 15 mintues and baby wa sout in 2.5 pushes, and since I'm 45 minutes away it's better to have it controled, some what.
same as if I progress to a 3-4 cm on my own with no labor, I'll be induced for the same reasons.
I am getting induced at 39 weeks. I was induced with my 2 other DDs ad 39 weeks also. Reasons were/are:
- I was already 3.5cm and soft both times from 37 weeks on
- I was GBS positive and wanted to make sure I got my antibiotics in
- I had very very easy inductions with my other 2. Basically the dr just broke my water and gave me a little pitocin and babies were born fast and easy soon after.
If the baby hasn't came by the time my husband gets here from overseas, we'll be inducing on my due date. He only has a couple weeks before heading back and I want him to have every minute he can with the baby.
I'm being induced at 39 weeks because I had a pulmonary embolism and right leg DVT not quite a year ago. I'm currently on blood thinners and they want me in a controlled environment so they can stop my medicine before I go into labor so I won't have uncontrolled bleeding during the delivery.
I am being induced at 39 weeks. My husband is on the road for work almost the whole week, except for weekends usually, and they send him all over the place. sometimes hes 13-20 hours away. We talked to the Dr. about induction to try and plan the birth so my husband doesnt miss it. And I got induced when i was pregnant with my daughter and had no complications, so I figured Id be a good candidate again.
Im well aware that something could happen before 39 weeks though...Im really hoping if it does that my husband is either home, or close enough to home to make it there in time!!!
I might be induced - My OB said he would prefer to induce me if I am favorable for an induction (dialated enough so my water can just be broke). My labor with my DD was very quick and we don't want to risk not making it to the hospital for this birth....I really don't want to have the baby in the car or my kitchen or anything like that hehehe.
I have not been checked yet, but will be on the 30th. I can't wait to see if I am dialated!
The doctor wants to induce me, but so far I've refused. Reason being, I have very quick labours (4 hours and 3.5 hours total), and I live 1.5 hours from the hospital. However, I want her to come as naturally as she can, so I won't be induced unless I go past term.
