Okay..so I have been throwing up lately. Not excessively, just a few times over the past few days. Tonight though, it was really horrible. Now my throat feels like someone is cutting at it with a knife and whenever I swallow, the pain intensifies and it feels almost like there's something stuck there. I've checked and there's nothing stuck, but it hurts like hell.
Has anyone ever had this issue?
Is there anything that I can eat/drink that will soothe it, even if only a little? I've sent the bf out for throat lozenges and ice cream..going to try those. But if it doesn't work, what else can I try?
I don't think anything is swollen..but I'm not a good judge cause I honestly have had maybe three sore throats in my life that I can remember. If it is swollen, it would probably be from the stomach acid and force of vomiting, right?
Also, talking doesn't hurt, just everything else throat related. I noticed too that my saliva is kinda mucus-y and slightly thicker than normal. :\
My money is on either your glands are swollen cause of the pukin or your scratched it... either way... you can get some chloroseptic throat spray (its numbing) and drink lots of cold things to numb it...
I ate some chicken soup that bf made for me, and have a giant glass of water right beside me. The ice cream helped some too. It seems to be getting a little better, or maybe it's just numb enough I can't feel it as much. Either way, thanks for the advice ladies. I appreciate it.
