My DH and I were talking last night and our first DD wasn't named after anyone, her middle name coincidentally is the city we live in now.
If our 3rd baby ends up being a boy, he will be named after our grandfathers who share the same name.
I was thinking if we named this baby with my middle name, that Delilah would feel left out that her name wasn't after anyone special.
We came up with Olivia McKenzie, instead of Olivia Lynn. I absolutely LOVE it!!
I think it is very pretty. My kids all have stories behind their names-and they think that each of their stories are neat. I think you can explain to Delilah how you came up with her name and she will feel that it is special because you picked it just for her.
