I've been eating about 1800 kcal a day and I had been losing pretty steadily, but now I'm stalled at about 10lb above pre-pregnancy weight. I'm not sure what I should do about it. I'm afraid that if I lower the calories more, I'll start having milk supply issues. What do you think - should I try eating a bit less, exercising more, just holding steady and hoping this plateau will resolve itself...? Advice = much appreciated.
Personally for me those last 10lbs are the toughest to lose. That's where I am too. From experience it's just gonna take some time. I wouldn't cut anymore calories. With your workouts (I don't know exactly what you do but...) you could add interval training and some weight lifting. Both of those things will up your metabolism & make your body burn more calories when your not working out (muscle burns more calories that fat). Just keep eating well & exercising & I bet you'll lose the weight...just maybe not as quickly as you'd like.
