Is there anything you packed in your hospital bag that proved exceptionally useful? Is there anything you WISH you packed but didn't? Thanks

I brought my nursing cover which I loved having so I could nurse while my visitors were there.

Chapstick was something I was really happy to have with all that breathing. There are many other things but that is one that sticks out to me at the moment.

Chapstick, hard candy, and snacks. I won't leave home without them.

There is nothing I wish I didn pack, but a ton of stuff I wish I DIDNT pack! The last thing I felt like doing when I got home was unpacking all the junk I overpacked.

I packed a lot of things I didn't use. The lists you find online are crazy..they list things to keep you occupied like cards, books, etc. Labor was entertaining enough for me. lol.
I also packed a whole diaper bag and only really needed his coming home outfit. The hospital will provide you with pretty much everything you need for baby.

Chapstick is definitely a must have. I was glad I had comfy pjs too so I didn't have to be in a gown all the time. I wore my own t shirt during birth..gowns get on my nerves. I've heard some ppl swear by bringing the boppy if you're nursing but I just used an extra hospital pillow.
Just make sure you bring stuff for you to wear home, stuff to keep you comfortable, and personal hygiene stuff..and of course batteries and chargers for your phone, camera, etc.
