Great job so far everyone! Let's make it another great week, we can do it!!

7/24 (Sun): 30 minute walk outside
7/25 (Mon): 4.2 mile run (1 mile warm-up, 2 miles tempo, 1.2 mile cool down) 40 minutes total
7/26 (Tues): off
7/27 (Wed): 4 mile interval run (42 minutes-treadmill) not feeling it today-ugg
7/28 (Thurs): off
7/29 (Fri): off
7/30 (Sat): local 5K race

M - P90 weights circuit, c25k w3d1 (run 90s, walk 90s, run 3m, walk 3m, repeat once)
T - P90 cardio/abs
W - P90 weights, c25k w3d2
T - P90 cardio/abs
F - P90 weights, c25k w3d3
S - P90 cardio/abs

S- off
M- 35 min treadmill. 5 min walk warm up. Ran over 2 miles... 1st mile was 9:40! Go me. 2nd mile was 10:30. The rest of the 7 min I ran was a slower pace. and then 3 min walk to cool down.
T- I was sore so just did 35 min on elliptical, but I did kick my butt harder than usual on it.
W- off
T-37 min treadmill. 1st mi 9:35, 2nd 10:25... still ran over half a mile at a slower 11 min pace after that.
F-off... although I did go to the gym to set up DH's membership. I told him I didn't care if we couldn't afford it, his health is important just like food.
S- 35 min treadmill. 1st mi 9:30, 2nd mi 10:15. That means 2 mi in 19:45! Woohoo!I kicked butt today

are you doing p90x? How do you like it? I'm thinking of starting it when it gets cold & snowy outside when running out there gets tough.

Nah, I'm doing P-90, the baby version - much easier, from what I've been told. I do like what I'm doing; I'm in pretty mediocre shape so it's a good workout for me, especially the strength portion. I know people who've done p90x and had really good results, though.

How'd your 5k go? I've been looking for a local one to do after c25k, but no luck.

hmm, didn't know there was a p90. I'll have to look into it too.

My run was fine, I ran with my aunt and it's her 1st race & she doesn't run much so we went pretty slow. But it was 85 degrees, sunny & humid too. I didn't even time myself, but probably 10 min/miles where I usually run under 9 min/miles in 5k's, but it was fun.

When will you be ready for a 5k?

Probably mid-September-ish, depending on if I need to repeat any weeks of c25k, I think.

I need to look into doing a 5k around here! It's only 3 miles right? I'm already doing over 2.5 now.
