Mm I'll have to see what parmesan cheese is like in my aunt's recipe. Her recipe is the best I've ever had. All the others are sorely lacking. We make it here for the main dish it's so good. Hash brown casserole is awesome!
My aunt's recipe used O'Brian potatos, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of celery soup (which adds a wonderful flavor to any casserole I've found), and fried onions (like French's) or stuffing mix. It's just amazing! But I think I'll add parmesan to it next time and see how it is. Oo! Maybe I can make it tonight!
