Since having my LO, I've lost close to 30 pounds.... Fabulous right? Well, I still need to lose about 5 to get to my pre-pregnancy weight, THEN I need to lose another 25 pounds.
I really try to give myself small, realistic goals. Like once I get to 159, (5 pounds away), I consider that to be a milestone. I'm trying hard to not focus too much on the big picture - if I do it seems too overwhelming. So, my goal is to do 5 pounds at a time - then I don't get too depressed, plus I feel like I'm really achieving something when I reach my next 5 pound goal.
How do you lose weight? Big picture / small picture?
I have about 18lbs to go until my prepg weight. I'm nursing and I don't know if I can loose much weight anymore until he is over 1. For some reason my body always tends to keep on about an extra 20 lbs for the first year while nursing so much. But my goal right now it to not gain any weight at all...even with tons of b-day and holidays coming up. And to try to watch my calorie intake and hopefully actually have a holiday weight loss. I think I'm kind of focused mostly on the short term goal just through the holiday. But I do have a long term goal to never be over 140lbs again.
