So I gave Sarah banana in the mesh feeder yesterday, and she loved it!! Do you guys use it? What other items do you put in there? I'm thinking apples...do you have other ideas?

I did avocado first, then bananas in it, then cooked carrot.

When E was teething, we put frozen peach slices in it. They were great. Right now, he's not really into it though.

I have some, but I haven't used them yet. She loves to suck on my watermelon, so I'm thinking about putting a chunk in there.

I put some grapes in mine and he loved it for awhile. I was out of banana so I gave him that. He is a big chewer so I think he is gonna love it for awhile, especially when his gums hurt

Ok for those of you that have one of these I don't recommend putting bananas in the mesh feeder. They are a total nightmare to get clean after baby eats one! Ewan loves the mesh feeder.

I feel kind of lame because I had to look up what a mesh feeder was. I bought a baby food grinder and have given him some homemade bananas pureed with it, but he really didn't love it, or any of the fruits I've made with it. He likes the texture of the store bought baby food better.

Melanie...I know! I find it comes out best and easiest if I wash it right away.
