How does your baby sleep?
Lucy's new fad is to lay on a side but she is trying to bury her face in the mattress. Up till three nights ago she was such a good back sleeper!!! Now she immediately rolls to the side at an angle closer to the belly than the back.
I cannot sit there all night adjusting her. Am I wrong worrying about her getting enough air? I bought one of those angel pads but I really don't want her to stop breathing for 20 seconds before I find out!!!

From everything I have read, once they can roll, it is fine to let them find their own position and go with that. Even though Sophie rolls, she has never done it in her crib, so she still sleeps on her back.

I gave up on making Jim sleep on his back when he learned to roll. Now he usually sleeps on his side or on his stomach.

Natalia Josie sleeps the same way and has for a long time. I lay her down on her side and sometimes she ends up on her back but she does try to bury her face in the mattress a lot. I think it's because I nurse her sidelying at night and she is just use to that comfort being there.

My 5month old will not go to sleep unless she's on her belly I try to keep her on her back but she just gets super pissed off and wakes herself up, but worries me to death at night when she's sleeping in her room and will only sleep on her belly

Usually on his back. When I lay him down it's on his side because he seems to stay asleep like that. But sometimes he will roll onto his back.

He is also rolling to his belly but has never done it in his crib.

She's been a belly sleeper since the hospital. the nurses couldn't keep her content under the lights for jaundice... she had good head control so they put her on her belly and she was extremely content and happy. I was nervous the first couple nights she was on her own in her crib.... but since about 6-8 weeks old she's slept 11-13 hours a night... that makes for a very happy mommy and a very happy baby

She sleeps flat on her back usually, though this morning she was on her side when I looked over at her. She can roll over but she's only rolled over in her bed when she was awake, never in middle of the night.

Once my older DD could roll over she preferred sleeping on her belly, and she slept better that way. It freaked me out the first few times but it's not like I could stop her unless I strapped her down.

Sophie doesn't seem too picky. I usually lay her on her side when I put her down and she usually rolls to her back or belly, but not one more than the other. Occasionally she stays on her side.

JC sleeps on his back, or in the swing. He had been doing so great about sleeping in his crib all night, but the last couple weeks he is up evey 1-2 hours all night long and won't nap. Unless I put him in the swing and then he will sleep 3ish hours.

Catie will only sleep on her belly. When we were in the hospital, and for the first 2 months of her life she only slept on my chest at night, tummy to tummy, and I think that's why she refuses to sleep on her back.
