So my little chunky monkey is too big for size 1 diapers and I still have 2 boxes plus some other packages of them. Does anyone know if I can take them to a store and exchange them for bigger ones?

If they are unopened, you should be able to exchange them no problem. If they're opened, you might be able to sell them on craigslist.

unopened and if any places give you trouble, try Walmart. They seem to take anything back.
