This is one of my family's favorite dinners

1 jar pure apricot jam (medium size jar, not the smallest not the biggest)
1 bottle Kraft Russian Salad dressing
1 packet onion soup mix

chicken breasts (i usually make 5-6 at a time)

heat oven to 350.

While heating prepare your sauce.

Put entire jar of jam into a bowel. Add entire bottle of Russian salad dressing. Add onion soup mix. mix well.

In an oven safe dish, spray pan with pam or oil (helps with clean up). Place chicken breasts down. Then take mix and pour over chicken. (use all of the sauce as you can put left over sauce on chicken and makes it taste good, and we also add the sauce to plain rice and it tastes so good). Cover dish with tinfoil and cook for 40 minutes covered.

After 40 minutes take out of over. Uncover. Scoop extra sauce and reglase chicken. Put back in over for another 20 minutes.

(during the second part of cooking, I usually prepare the rice).

When Chicken is done. take out of oven. Put on plates. Add a bit of sauce to the cooked chicken. Put rice on plate and put sauce over rice.

Enjoy!

** for those who dont like the taste of apricot, dont be afraid to try this recipe you really do not taste the apricot flavor.
