Ok so Kaitlyn moves A LOT! She has been picking her head up since 5 days old I thought that was strange BUT for the past week now she is moving from one end of her crib to the other! She literly works her way all the way down to the other side (the length of the crib not the width!) I had to pull up her decorative pillow and bear and I am going to remove her bumper too, she was up against it this morning!

Holy COW!? Is this a normal occurrence? DD1 Never moved!

I am gonna run out and get one of these today so that she is protected but can't be suffocated

Lilly moves a lot! She picks her head up and moves it from side to side and will just sit there with her head up. I try to prop her up on pillows so I can get adjusted but she'll move herself around so much and squirm off of the pillow! Me & DH call her advanced. LOL

DS has pretty decent head control. He doesn't move, but he does push himself ALL the way up on his legs when you are holding him upright burping him. He's actually putting weight on them, weird!

Kaitlyn too! It is like my lap is a trampoline when she is being burped! LOL!

Archer is the same way..he's been holding his head up for a while..not forever but he'll go a minute or two without even flinching. lol. When he was a week or two we sat a blanket out on the floor for tummy time..he started in the middle and had worked his way off the blanket in about 5 minutes. Xander was the same way too..and was rolling both ways by 3 months, sitting up at 4, crawling at 6, cruising at 7..lol It seems like Archer might follow suit.

Jamie was the same. He was able to hold his head up from birth and moved a lot. Corbin, not so much. He is just starting to have some control of his head.

All three of mine have been able to lift their heads from birth (it always gets commented on by the staff in the operating room) and can move themselves around . Our first was the most dramatic example (he's the one who got kicked out of the NICU for being disruptive b/c he was pushing himself around the bassinet with his feet and unplugging his monitors....). DH seems to forget how mobile our kids are and is utterly amazed at Isabelle's ability to scoot over against us from across the bed

Roan has crazy strong neck muscles! Ever since we started bottle-feeding him in the NICU, he's been able to lift his head, and throw it all around! Whenever he's in his crib, he'll move 90 degrees in any given direction just from squirming all night. It's crazy! He also likes to use our laps as trampolines, lol.

Our babies really are super!

Kynslee has been able to hold her head up since birth. When DH 1st held her he said I thought you had to hold their head up?! Of course it wasn't for a long time but she does have incredible neck muscles. She doesn't move or scoot though.

Yep, Isabella has lifted her head up on her own since birth as well. I can't believe her leg muscles the way she kicks and jumps on me. Love these strong babies!!

Archer has done this twice so far..the first time being a week ago. I texted my mom and told her and she was like whoa..what?! lol Crazy babies. It seems like all our September babies have been fast movers from the get-go. some couldn't wait to get here and now they can't wait to grow up!

Isaiah can hold his head up pretty well for a 5 week old. He also tries to pull his knees up under him (like he's trying to crawl), when he does tummy time.
