I need a punkin pie recipe. One that someone has used before that come out great! One from scratch too. I bought a pie pumpkin and want to try and make one from scratch today!

I would use it if I liked cheesecake! I am making my pie right now with a recipe I found online. I just pureed the pumpkin so now I gotta mix everything together!

yeah I cant do the texture of pumpkin so I need to mix it into something hope that recipe works out well for you

Here is a pic of the finished product. It's still cooling so I haven't tested it yet

WTB update on how it turned out... Ive been in a strange baking mood recently and I really want some pumpkin flavored food!!!! Like pie or muffins or.......

It turned out PERFECT. And that recipe is enough for TWO pies!

I have yet to make a pumpkin pie from scratch. What kind of pumpkin did you use...you mentioned you had a pie pumpkin? I'm not sure what that is
