Ingredients
3 lg bananas

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/4 cup chopped dates (optional)

Directions
Preheat oven to 325. Crush bananas; whip until light. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, flour, baking soda, and nuts/dates if using. Add bananas LAST. Turn into a well-greased bread pan. Bake for approx 1 hour (can take up to 90 minutes, so check with a toothpick or cake tester).

that picture has me wanting banana bread like RIGHT NOW!!! lol
I need to buy extra bananas next time we do groceries. We go through them so fast I never have any soft ones left for any recipes.

So my momma told me I have to wait for my bananas to start to turn brown, is this true?

I think they're just easier to mush maybe.... I didnt have large bananas so I used 4 medium ones and 2 were brown, 2 werent and it came out nommy so....

I was waiting for my bananas to turn a little brown or spotty and the top two hardly changing color or getting spotty... so I picked up the bunch and realized the bottom one was completely black.. I set it back down and it poured rotton liquid out all over my counter... what I don't get is how they were from the same bunch and the other 2 were fine! I had to toss the whole bunch
