My DH asked me to make rice crispy treats so I thought it would be fun to discuss our favorite treats and share recipes.

We eat gluten free and I got this recipe from Doodles Facebook page. Oh good lawd... So delicious!! Like a huge Reese cup!

Chocolate PB Squares
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (or margarine, whatever you have)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark, again whatever you have)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups peanut butter
2- 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions

Place all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave until butter and peanut butter are melted, one to two minutes (time will vary by microwave).

Remove from microwave and use a large spoon to stir all of the ingredients together until they form a ball of dough that leaves the side of the bowl. Pat into a 9x13 pan.
Pour chocolate chips into another microwave safe bowl and microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted. Spoon over top of peanut butter mixture and spread evenly.

Allow to cool completely at room temperature until chocolate hardens again or place in the refrigerator for faster hardening. Cut into squares and serve to some awfully happy people!

ooh, those sound yummy!! I usually go for ice cream, but if I'm making something, I LOVE jello no bake cheese cake....I could eat the whole thing in one sitting! I also make homemade chocolate chip cookies or rice crispy treats

I've been making peanut butter cookies with peanut butter cups in them for tailgating and they are to die for.

To make them...
1. Go to the dairy case in the grocery store.
2. Pick up the blue package of pre-made cookie dough.
3. Prepare according to the directions on the package
4. Enjoy

That's how I cook these days!!

Haha!! I love it!! That's normally how I bake too, except the cookie dough rarely makes it to the oven
