Michael only has a pair of shoes that go on like socks, and have rubber on the bottom. I want to buy him some real shoes.

I want to order from shoebuy.com - since they have free shipping and free returns... but, I'm not sure what size he might be in?

I would imagine sizes vary from kid to kid - but - what sizes are your lo's in - and how big are they? Do they have fat feet?

Michael is about 26 lbs, and 30ish inches long.. his feet are fat (holds his weight in his thighs and feet - lol)

I was thinking about getting stride rites.... Any suggestions?

Logan never wears shoes or even socks for the matter. But I have tried some on him briefly. He fits a 4 pretty well but I bet Michael wears a bigger size. I haven't weighed Logan lately but I bet he still isn't 20 lbs.

Taylor only wears shoes when we want her to keep her socks on which is usually only when we are going out.

She's in a size 3 now and some size 4's fit. I'd just take him to stride rite to get fitted. I think they also have a shoe sizer thingy you can print out and measure his feet that way.

I got 2 pairs through baby steals last week or 2 weeks ago. I think Robeez is by stride rite, maybe not as expensive? Check out the clearance there too. I wouldn't spend $45 because they are going to out grow them fast. If he's only going to be wearing them when your outside, maybe check out Target or Kohls or someplace like that?

I think it totally depends on baby as for shoes size. Ethan is in a 4.5. he is 30 inches tall (prolly longer since that was at his 9 month check up...2 months ago!) and 20 pounds. He is long and lean.

I bought Zoey some 12-18m Robeez booties. They are really warm, and easy for her to cruise in. They are leather soled, and because of that, they'll fit longer. A friend of mine used the 12-18m ones all the way up to 2 years. Because he's so big, maybe he'd even fit an 18-24m pair of Robeez. They are worth the money imo.

Lola is in size three. Her feet always seemed small and never seemed to grow so I bought her several pairs of size two that were large at the time thinking they would last her through winter. A few weeks later, its no comical trying to squeeze her newly giant baby feet into them So I would not spend $45 on shoes b/c they may only last a few weeks before they are too small.

Beth wears size 2 or 3 depending on the shoe. She doesn't wear them often. I wouldn't pay $45 for shoes at this age. Their feet grow so fast. You can find some cute ones at Payless shoe store or Target or somewhere.

Will payless or target have the wider width? I'm thinking about checking out marshalls tonight...

Kerrigan wears a size 4 (but is 19lb and has a rather narrow foot) in a regular shoe and a 12-18mo in Robeez.

Sadie is in a size 4.

You can get his feet measured at Payless too. Have you thought about Ebay for Stride Rites? Thats where I got Sadies first pair. They were like $12 and in pretty good shape. Her other 2 pairs I got from Totsy when they were half off, but I would def. check Ebay!!! And I would probably get a wide for him if he has fat feet. HTH
