So far I'm down about 30 lbs, from 170 at my 40-week appointment to 140 now. I was 127 at the start of my last period, but I'm hoping to get down to about 120. It seems like the last week or so, I've hit a wall, but that is probably because I have been eating way too much junk, specifically chocolate. I'm going to try to get on track and eat more vegetables and other healthier snacks. My goal is to be at 130 by the time I go back to work on December 19, so I have about a month to lose 10 lbs. I also need to start doing crunches or some other kind of ab workout, since it's seriously jiggly around my tummy. That's where I always carry any extra weight (that and cellulite on my thighs) so I know that's where I need to focus my attention.
I am going nowhere fast. Folks at work say I look great, but I think that just means I'm hiding my jiggly belly well, because I am still at 138. Serves me right for not exercising...but maybe just being off my butt and walking to and from the bus stop every day (it's about a 10 minute walk) and moving around the office will help a little. I literally have been laying around on the couch with Maggie this whole time and not doing anything more than folding laundry as exercise.
