I have been on Amazon for a couple of weeks now trying to find the "perfect" gift for Parker. My mom got him the LeapPad activity table, which I am super excited about him getting! I have been thinking about getting him some stacking blocks, but I am not sure if I should go with the locking Megablocks or just plain blocks that he can build with. Also, I thought about nesting toys, too.

What are some things on your list for LO?

I am actually really struggling with Hudson this year, because we actually have all of the cool things that you would buy a brand new one year old from his brother (push walker, activity table, fisher price learning door, etc).

So far I got him the Step 2 red little push car with the blue handle (black Friday sale at TRU) a Fisher Price little basketball hoop type thing (not like a toddler basketball hoop) it sits on the floor at his level, leap frog pots and pans (that make noise) and the Fisher Price laugh and learn soccer ball. Between Christmas and his Birthday we may call it good.

Grandma got him a Fisher price car thing that has a little track that spins the car and then spits them out and the laugh and learn puppy that walks and dances.

We got Taylor some 18 mo summer clothes, a dancing Elmo, Some toys that just light up and talk (picnic basket, my first kitchen and some other just random ones), a little tikes indoor slide, some Little People, a Baby Einstein video, a guitar toy, a sing-a-mah-jig doll that talks, a cabbage patch doll and my mom is getting her a tent/tunnel to crawl through. I'm still looking for a swing to hand outside from the tree, a tonka dump truck and a ball pit. She is clearly getting WAY too much stuff

Am I the only one that is getting him like - one or two gifts, and then putting money in his bank account? I figured the grandparents will probably go overboard, so we only have one gift for him so far...

Taylor's grandparents won't go overboard, they will each get her one or 2 gifts and that's it....so I figure it's our turn to go overboard LOL! But I do think what you are doing is smart...they aren't going to care if they 1 or 20 gifts....they are going to like the paper way more anyways!

I really WANT to go crazy with gifts - I do! But - DH is more sensable, and has convinced me not to. I may have to get him a couple more gifts though! Sneak them in - I like the idea of blocks. He loves stacking things!

He fell in love with a Buzz Lightyear when we went shopping for the older two, so DH decided we needed to get that for him. He is also getting a couple small Fisher Price toys and the Fisher Price baseball toy.

Yeah, I thought we would do one large toy and then a few smaller things. It isn't like he will know. I just want him to have a good time on Christmas morning! A friend of ours was actually going to give us some toys, so I thought about cleaning them all up and wrapping them, too. I think they were Little People.

We bought a bunch of toys that the kids can share like a GIANT playhut. ALyssa loves crawling under things so I thought that would be good. She also got a few baby dolls , weeble tree (she cracks up at weebles) and we also bought a few things that we wont be taking out of the boxes until we get into our house but they have tons of toys

Im kind of stuck on what to get Raegen cuz we have a lot of toys that are age appropriate for her that her sister has outgrown so she already plays with all those. Maybe a couple baby Einstein videos or the fisher price door thing...hmmmm

I'm trying not to go crazy but it is so easy. I've actually considered wrapping up some of her toys that she doesn't play with as often so they will seem new and she'll have more to tear into.

I got her the Fisher Price Animal Sounds Zoo, the same picnic basket Julie got Taylor (thanks for the idea), a fisher Price dog that talks and sings, a replacement for the Leapfrog laptop that randomly stopped working, a toy guitar and some books. Really the books are for me. I'm tired of the ones we have already. I got a couple of pairs of socks and some barrettes for her stocking.

Yippee! I'm glad I was able to help I got Taylor a guitar too! She lives music and loves to strum the cords on the real guitar.

I took Natalie with me to the toy section at Target a couple weeks ago to see what she might be interested in playing with. I had to bribe her with one of her toys in order to get the guitar back from her. I thought I was going to have to buy it to avoid a complete meltdown. Santa knows he hit at least one home run!!

That's awesome!! I had the same reaction to a Sing-a-mah-jig I was getting for her at Target and she was with me. She wouldn't give it to me to put in the cart!! Ha! I thought we were also going to be facing a public meltdown over a $10 toy! LOL!!

I ended up purchasing some toys from a co-worker. They are pretty awesome...a Weeble castle, Little People dinosaur set, Little People airplane, Little People barn, and soft Tonka trucks.

Then I bought a 200-piece duffle bag of Mega Bloks from Amazon. I figured that would do it! Then I am going to get some stocking stuffers. My mom got him a Leap Frog activity table, so I feel like this year is good!

I only got Lily one thing because I have the older boys to buy for and I really spoiled them this year! Lily doesnt know the difference and her bday is right after christmas anyway.

I got her a walk along stroller. Will help her learn to walk and then she can use it as a stroller for her babies. So cute!
