Do you ladies feed your LO's lunch meat or the premade chicken chunks for like salad that is sold near the lunch meat? Do you know what I'm talking about? I'm wondering if it's ok for them, like is there too much sodium that I shouldn't feed her them?

I do--but only the hormel natural choice--all natural, no preservatives, etc. Sometimes that chicken is the only meat my 3 year old son will eat!

I would only feed DD natural, organic chicken. After the recent scare with arsenic in chicken, I've been avoiding anything else.

Where do you get these at? At the regular grocery store or do you have to go to a different one like Whole foods?

Hormel is usually available at regular grocery stores.

Yeah, they have it at the Jewel and Target by me, and I think the Kmart Grocery. Meijer by me doesn't have it, at least not the chicken, they have the ham though.

Em had some deli sliced Roast Beef the other day at the grocery store. She loved it. I hadn't really thought about the sodium content since she was just getting little pieces of it. I do know that when I asked the pediatrician about listeria concerns when the cantaloupe scare started, she told me that they don't really worry about it after 6 months and that it was more dangerous to me than Em.
