Hudson had his 12 month well child today and is 29lbs3oz (off the charts) and 32in (95th). Doctor said everything looked good and when I asked him if having no teeth is normal, he just looked at me. Said not normal, but happens. I have learned to take nothing that this man says to heart any more and no that Hudson will get teeth when it is time. In the mean time, he is still an eating machine.
I have a friend whose niece didn't have teeth until after a year. They will come when they are ready and they don't seem to be holding him back. Have you thought of seeing someone else that you might like?
I really have considered it, but he is in one of only two pediatric offices in town. We had a bad run in with the other office when my oldest was born and I absolutely love his partner, BUT we cannot change ped's within the office.
This guy has been around forever, and was absolutely wonderful when we started with him three years ago. However since Hudson has been a patient (the whole last year) I am not impressed at all. He totally missed his Plagiocephaly, and then wasn't very pleasant to me when he found out that I took him to his partner (who sent him to the ortho) and a few other things. I kind of feel stuck right now, but I am one of those mom's who will stand her ground if I believe something, and he knows that.
