How often do you bathe baby? Ive been seeing a lot of people that have a bath as part of bedtime routine and im just wondering if you actually do it everday? Ive always been told don't need a bath everyday as it dries out their skin.
Do you always use soap? Oil? Lotion?

We almost bathe her every single night. Every so often, we will skip a day but that is only if she is sound asleep and I don't want to wake her just to bathe her. We didn't bathe her Saturday night because we bathed her Sat morning (we went out of town for the weekend).

I use the night time shampoo on her head and body. And then lotion her up. She gets lotioned in the morning, too unless I am just absolutely rushing.

I don't use oil...I didn't know people even use that??

For a little while I was putting a little bit of baby oil in the water, but I was finding she was getting what looked like clogged pores, and since I read on here oil can cause that, I stopped.

We used to give her a bath every night, but I started recently doing it after her morning nap, just before I get her dressed, and that is working so much better. One less thing to worry about after supper.

I don't use soap every time. (baby soap). Sometimes it's just water to have a quick wash down. I use soap every 2-3 days. And she always gets lotion on after her bath, and again at bed time. I use glaxall base for after her bath (recommended by the dr) and bedtime lotion for night time. Using the cream keeps her skin nice and moisturized, and i like having a routine with her.

We don't bather every night. I bathe her every other night unless she gets dirty with spit-up or lots of slobber...I change her clothes throughout the day, though.

We do a bath 2-3x a week unless he gets really dirty/stinky or has a blowout diaper.

I only use baby oil to scrub the cradle cap on his head.

We bathe Carter 3-4 times a week. No oil although we have used it for his cradle cap. Just shampoo/body wash and splash time with his rubber duckies!

Evan gets a bath every 2-3 days. He's got dry skin, so we try to keep it to a minimum. We do use shampoo every time, and lotion afterwards. I try and lotion him every day. He's super drooly and spits up lots, so we clean his neck rolls every day and his diaper area every day too.

I do a wipe down with baby wipes daily, especially in all the fat rolls. But he only gets a bath every 2-3 days. He has dry skin and I don't want to irritate it. Like others, though, he gets an extra bath after a super blow-out or soaking spit up. LOL.

Well i feel better im not the only one who doesnt bathe everyday! Katelyn gets a bath 1-3 times a week, with the typical exceptions (blowout, spit up, using hair as a napkin)
But she sure does love bathtime

I bathe Will twice a week. Usually on Sundays and Wednesdays. I give him a sponge bath every morning for his face, neck, and hands with a warm wash cloth.

His skin is dry, so I lotion him up afterwards. I don't use oils or anything like that.

We give the big kids a bath every other day, unless they are really dirty/stinky or it's summer.

little rose gets one 2-3 times a week, unless she gets food all over her or has a blow out. I generally just use the yellow J & J for washing and lotion after bath on her skin.

As needed, but usually that works out to a few times a week. Since Daniel, Gabby and I both have skin issues, I wanted to be careful with Keelan and not over bath him which can lead to over-dry skin.

It's part of his bedtime routine so basically every night unless we're out late then it's just a bottle and bed. We use either the J&J lavender bath wash or the yellow stuff.
