Has anyone else's baby been on antibiotics? Did it affect their digestive system?

George got some heavy duty ones about three weeks ago and his digestive system is still completely out of whack. He has really liquidy poos about a dozen times a day and several at night. I'm taking probiotics in hopes of some passing through my milk to him, but I'm getting a teeny bit worried he'll never get back to normal.

I've even been trying rice cereal and bananas in hopes of slowing things down a bit but no luck.

Not my LO, but I've been on antibiotics twice since I had her. And it definitely affected her for 4 or 5 days, but then went back to normal!

Keelan had similar stool issues after I was on antibiotics. The only thing that worked for him was applesauce.

Colton was on abx--but I didn't see much of a difference. He is always a poo machine.

Can you give the pro-biotics right to the baby? That is what I did when I had to take antibiotics and no issue at all. I just asked the pharmasict about it and he said it was ok.
