Jennifer I think you mentioned they were getting easier... I am I'm jinxing myself typing this, but all the sudden, Sam just wants to be put in his crib with a bottle of water. No rocking or anything. He screams for like two minutes and then outs himself to sleep. It's crazy but wonderful! Same thing at bed time. I hope it continues like this for a while. What's going on at your house?
Naps go okay here at home. There are times when they are a struggle, but he really seems to like naps. There have been a few skipped afternoon naps or some that are pushed later. He usually takes a bottle of milk before his nap, then lays down, may whimper for a few seconds, then is out.
Usually Natalie naps on us or on the couch. She used to freak out if you tried to put her in her crib for a nap even if she was sound asleep when you tried to move her. We pretty much gave up on the crib. At day care, she naps in a bouncy seat. It cracks me up when I put her in it because it bends back so it's almost flat. I'm sure she has exceeded the weight limit. I suppose we should try to get her back in her crib for naps but she sleeps so well on the couch that it hasn't been worth the effort.
Logan is a good napper. He takes a nap before noon. I just put him in his baby bed, turn the mobile on and he doesn't cry. He'll usually take one or two more naps the rest of the day. At night we usually do the same, just put him in his bed. But he's up within 2 hours. Then sleeps between me and DH.
