All the sudden Sam is into EVERYTHING. No exaggeration. He literally runs from one thing to another that he should not be in, and is hurting himself every five seconds. No matter how hard I try to keep areas safe he always finds a way to be naughty. I'm going crazy!!!
My BF says it's a boy thing. What do you think? How are you handling this? I knew it would be bad, but Sam has taken it to a different level. DH said, "I don't understand .... We go to other people's houses with kids and they have stuff everywhere and their kids are fine, but Sam is in a danger zone everywhere he is!" what gives??
Well, Dylan is the same, so I don't think it is a boy thing! She LOOKS for things she knows that she will get taken immediately from her. I mostly find it's to do with getting attention, as before she will do it she will make sure we are watching. I just keep telling her no, or putting her in the playroom and walking away for a minute or two.
Parker is into everything, too. He wants to touch, throw, and bang everything. I have just tried to put everything up high that he can hurt himself with or that is heavy.
The hardest is going to a house where the people don't have small children because then it is like a baby playground for him because there is so much to play with that he shouldn't. He knows it, too. The other weekend he was banging the doors on a china cabinet. Yep, that sounds like an awesome idea, Parker, go for it. No.
Hopefully they will grow out of it soon! Let's just wrap them in bubble wrap!
Logan likes to eat alot of stuff he's not supposed to. Like yesterday he drank some baby shampoo and ate a pencil eraser. He can go just about anywhere in the house and be "safe" though. He does seem to shut his fingers in drawers often. I think it's just a toddler thing. They are so curious. I just let him live and learn.
Alyssa is into everything! When I stop her from one thing she scopes the room for her next area of attack. She just learned to climb on the couch so when I am making a bottle Ill turn around to her up there chewing my remote. She is a crazy.
