Since the sun has been rising earlier lately, so has the baby! (up here, the sun is up around 6:30 or 7 lately- used to be 7:30 or 8, and will only get earlier from here on out). It doesn't matter what time she goes to sleep either.

I must cover the windows today with something darker as the curtains are just not cutting it. Garbage bags perhaps? The thing that sucks is that the baby's windows is 10 feet wide and 3 feet tall. So it might be difficult!

Anyone else have a baby who is up with the sun?

Holy cow!!! YES! Kaylee has been doing this for two weeks now! Doesn't go to sleep until 10 and is up for the day at 6!!! She used to sleep until 10!

We just bought blackout blinds today to see if that will help. I sure hope it does!!!

No, thank goodness. Especially since come June it won't get dark out.

Around here people who do have this problem get blackout curtains. I hear they also help with keeping the temperature regulated as well as light suppression.

Or they throw a comfortor over the windows in a pinch. If you need to black out the windows this second and don't have the curtains; comfortors, blankets, tablecloths, towels and cardboard work. They look super tacky, but do work.

Sav sleeps in our room which has black out curtains so it's dark in there all the time but when we move her to her own room, if it is a problem, I will just get black out curtains...This Momma aint getting up at 6am. haha

Yeah I covered the window with a big blanket, but a lot of light still came in the bottom. So I plan to try garbage bags today (so chic, haha) and see how that goes.

I hope it works for you! Kaylee's room is as dark as a cave, but she was still up at 6. Time for a new bedtime I think!

thankfully know. But our 10 year old is. It's exhausting because he's not happy being the only one awake and has to wake up every other person in the house.
