seems like he's always going lol...any way I called to make his 6 month well check today and talked to the nurse about his spitting up...It's getting worse, he throws up constantly (except when he's sleeping)...It's not just a little, he seems to throw up half if not more of what he eats after every feeding...He's even spitting up clear stuff, not just milk...he seems to be gaining, and has wet diapers, but this throwing up isn't normal...He throws up every couple minutes at least...so i'm taking him in tomorrow to see what they say...Hopefully something can be done...starting solids have not helped, he spits that up too!!
That doesn't sound good--I hope they can figure out what's going on! Maggie spits up at least a half a feed about once or twice a week (which sets off my PTSD every time, ugh), but she doesn't do the frequent puking like you're describing. I mean she spits up little white gunk pretty regularly but I think it's mostly from overeating and stuff still being in her tummy.
he has meds! they don't help, so I don't give them to him (I started them again a couple weeks ago to see if there was a change and there wasn't)..It's zantac...I'm not taking him today...My kids get out early, and his dr is out...It was an appointment with a nurse, and i'd rather see his dr, so i'm going to make another appointment for next week when he's back in...I know he's gaining and he wets a lot, so i'm sure he'll be fine for another week...The throwing up doesn't bother him.
thanks ladies! today hasn't been as bad *knock on wood* he's only on his 2nd bib of the day...i'll see how it is next week, and if it's still this bad i'll call and make him an appointment...I just really would rather see a dr instead of a nurse (no offense to any nurses)
