does your baby do anything to comfort themselfs?

Jakob loves a blanket on his face, he rubs it all around...Mostly his spit rags (reciving blankets)...It seems to comfort him...he also sucks on them sometimes (which is gross when they have spit up on it lol)...I don't know why he likes doing that so much lol...My other son Jack kind of did the same thing, and he still carries a couple of his spit rags around with him as blankies and he's almost 6 (I had none to hand down to Jakob because Jack wore through them all and only has those 2 left).

Maggie hasn't found a comfort item yet. She does a lot of eye rubbing and ear pulling when she's tired and she loves to chew/suck on her fingers.

Audrina sucks her hands mostly. She likes to rub the satiny parts of her blankets...but I'm not sure if it's a comfort thing or not.

Oh... and it's probably not good, but I let her comfort nurse

Owen likes cloth too - loves his burp rags and blankies and lovies but doesn't have one favorite or anything. He also sucks his hands CONSTANTLY and rubs his eyes when he's tired.

Kieran is a hand rubber. He will rub them on my shirt, on his crib mattress, on my breast, on his face when he is soothing himself. He also tosses his head around. I actually used to think his head tossing was fighting sleep, but it actually seems to be a comfort thing.
