My LO is pretty fickle when it comes to food but he can't seem to get enough of the following items:

- Scrambled Eggs with cheddar cheese
- Blended strawberries with oatmeal and chunks of banana
- Yo Baby apple and oatmeal yogurt
- Baby Bell brand cheese
- Watermelon

What are your go-to food items for your LO? I'm running out of ideas and need to spice up the daily menu!

bananas, corn, peas and rice. She will throw a huge temper tantrum when she finishes a banana and wants more. Corn, peas and rice she takes a huge handful and shoves it in her mouth. She will eat everything I put on her tray and just keeps eating.

as for rice, just plain white rice?

Michael likes almost everything - but he loves:

Black olives (I don't give him the whole olive - just part)
black beans
ravioli (no red sauce)
Peanutbutter anything

I made a dish he LOVED - whole wheat tortelini, ground turkey, italian spices, black olives, green pepper, broccoli, and onion - and then I added some parm cheese.... LOVED LOVED LOVED it... ate a ton of it.

..oh - and for a sauce - just some olive oil

Wow, I'm surprised he likes olives! I always saw olives as an acquired taste.. I hated olives when I was a kid but now I love'em!

I gotta try your tortellini dish! That sounds really good.

I noticed that you don't use red sauce - is it because Michael doesn't like red sauce or is it because it's not healthy?

I've done both canned corn and corn off the cob. I don't cut it up at all. When she first started eating it, she would pick up each individual kernel which was so cute. Now it's a very not-ladylike handful crammed into her mouth. She does the same thing with peas.

And I've done white rice, fried rice and rice-a-roni.

I think her all time favorite meal is a chicken, vegetable and rice recipe I make. She eats that by the handful. The only part I cut up more are the chicken pieces. She LOVES it and usually takes seconds. I love it because I only have to make one meal for dinner and we can all have it.
