So anyway...you ladies are brilliant and I could use some help
I am part of a church group circle who does "prayer partners." it is a secret exchange and we draw names back in September and do one thing a month thru the year.
I adore my prayer partner this time around and have been trying to get lots of fun goodies for her. But I am running out of ideas. It is just small stuff we give, along with a card. I have done: scratch off tickets (she has two little kids), a shirt, a pair of earrings, a notepad with a pen, an inspirational fridge magnet (handmade), and a book.
Any other inexpensive but nice ideas? I am trying to avoid food because she has been diagnosed as diabetic and trying to take off weight. But anything else is fair game!
Any hobbies she's into? If she's into crafty stuff, you can't go wrong with a gift card to a craft store (Michael's, Joann's, or some local store). I'm also a big fan of giving experiences instead of things, like, movie tickets.
bath salts, i saw a tutorial on how to make your own once, i will try and find it again for you
Oooh, that is a great idea! I also like to make pie-in-a-jar as a gift. Tip:the best pie-in-a-jar is one with no top crust, like pumpkin or French apple or berries-and-cream. See my old pie blog for details:
Good ideas! I am going to do all of them. I know where i can get a great water bottle for inexpensive and I love the homemade ideas. If you find that blog on how to make one yourself, Bree, I would love to know how. That is really personal and fun!
