Alex finally got in her teeth and now she is havingan exema flare up on her face she keeps rubbing it trying to itch it on one spot so bad she rubbed raw and we had to get a medicated powder for and and keep it covered until it is healed which it taking forever and then you have to answer all the questions of what happened to her face and it cant get soap in it so I cant wash her hair until its healed making her cradle cap worse
I just feel so bad for her and wish j could make it better it makes me feel like j am doing a bad job
I am so sorry about her rashes. Marsi has eczema on her chest and back really bad. It is so hard to see her with all of the patches. My pediatrician told us to use a very thin layer of hydrocortisone ointment (not cream!) 1-2 times a day. It has helped a lot. We can't use it very often because it can irritate the skin. I also use the aveeno diaper rash cream between the ointment applications (I only apply it once after her bath) and that seems to help it out as well. I hope that her eczema flare goes down soon.
Thanks its so bad it needed two perscriptions and oral and ointment. She already looks better and it gave her diareha so for us it means she is pooping a normal amount and finally not constipated so I guess there is an upside
