Oh goodness. My happy baby has become SO whiney! Is anyone else experiencing this?

I don't know if it is a phase, her teeth or frustration, but she whines from sunup to sunset.

The only thing that makes her happy is if I am carrying her around-- but not in the carrier My back can't take it!

I try to keep her entertained but nothing works for more than a few minutes. Bleh. I feel bad that I can't make her happy! The only time I get a break is when she nurses. lol

Have you considered an ear infection? Remember I posted basically the same thing about three days ago (mine was more sleep related, but he was still massively fussy and whiney)? Kieran had a pretty bad ear infection on the left side and one starting on the right. We just went in this morning because nothing I did made him happy. He never had a fever, pulled at his ears, or anything. He just cried, didn't want to sleep or nurse much, and was not the content baby I had been used to. So keep an eye out for that. It totally COULD be either teething or frustration with milestones. But I waited an extra two days because I was attributing it to those things and here my baby wasn't feeling good all along.

No matter what, I hope it gets better. My saving grace was my ergo, I just hauled him all around the house with me. Whatever is wrong, it is not fun for baby and mommy alike.

Maybe I will take her to the doc just in case. I wouldn't want her to have an infection and nothing be done for it

She isnt eating quite like she used to either. .

Luigi has been a little off recently. But he had 2 teeth come in so I am attributing it to that.

I hope it isn't an ear infection and that she is feeling more like herself again soon!

Karson has been like that too! He wants to be held all the time, eat all the time and very fussy when not constantly entertained. I think he is getting teeth... drooling and nawing on everything in sight. He is for sure a mamas boy

it could be teeth...Jakob has had days like that, and then he's fine....I hope it's not her ears and she gives you a break soon
