DH did laundry today too.
I took a NICE nap. I usually only do 20-30 min power naps, if I nap at all, but today I did close to 2 hours!

I'm making spaghetti in a few minutes. I'm so full from lunch still that I don't even want to think of cooking, but of course I have to.

I'm behind today because we went camping. But I think we will either do the left over steak from camping or bacon that should be cooked and potato salad with veggies.

I envy the way kids can entertain themselves in such a simple way.

The kids loved Sea World, but they didnt enjoy the drive. I felt sorry for them. We stopped often enough, but they would start howling as soon as we put them back in their car seats.

Oh that sucks. How far of a drive is it? I try to avoid long drives with Dominic. He's gotten a lot better but still can't handle them. Kaitlyn was about 3 when I really thought she was good to go for long road trips.

I actually might take Kaitlyn to Colorado with me for the US National in October, will be 24 hours of driving.

It was about 6 hours. They did ok going, but on the way back it took a bit longer because of traffic & thats when X got out of control. he kept trying to twist around in his seat to see me. Lol.
We took Layla to the beach for her first birthday & went 5 hours away & she was fine.

DH had a short shift today, just 11-3, so we took the kids out for supper and then we went mini golfing. The girls played outside with friends for pretty much the whole afternoon while Dh worked and they are both over tired now. If I thought the fighting between them was bad this afternoon it's worse now.

I can't say much for driving, we drove all the kids to Florida this spring and DS was only 7 months. Ontario to Florida is about 24 hours of driving time, we broke it into 3 days of driving.

Yay, my head is feeling better after an advil. Dominic seems grouchy tonight though, I think he's overtired from the weekend.

Glad your head is feeling better. I think I'm going to have to take some Advil as well, add some ear plugs and I might be able to sleep tonight. Between the fireworks and my drunk noisy neighbours I'm surprised my kids are staying asleep.
