Bananas for baby and nothing for me yet. I'm not super hungry this morning. I have to go run errands in a bit, maybe I'll grab something while I'm out.

I know I got one when I was pregnant because a friend insisted I go to "relax", but I don't really think pedicures are relaxing unless I'm by myself and even then...I think it's weird when the ladies try to make conversation. I just want peace and quiet!

In college, when I would (rarely) get a pedicure, I always brought my ipod, lol
I love pedis, but manis I never bother with because I ruin them a day later. I'm going tomorrow with a group of friends. My bff wanted to do mani/pedis before her boyfriend flies in Sunday.
I usually prefer quiet while I get pedis. But at least with friends there I won't have to make awkward conversation with the girl doing it.

I have hinted at a spa day to DH for mother's day, but since he recently said he has no f'n clue what to get me, I don't think he caught on

Omg trying to get this kid changed and dressed is always such a monumental task. She fights me every step, tries to roll and crawl away.

Eep! I guess I need to get mom a card. I got her a groupon for $75 worth of wine like 2 months ago and told her it was for mothers day (my parents are really into trying different wines)

I got up from my desk to change baby and fix big girl a snack, come back and my moisture is missing. Huh? No kids around... I've cleaned all around the area and can't see it. Ugh.

**ETA** MOUSE. My MOUSE was missing. Gah. Autocorrect.

Found it! Yikes! It somehow traveled along a utilities case I had propped under my desk and into my garbage. When I frantically cleaned to find it I buried it. I saw it's little light blinking when I tapped the garbage can and dug it out.

Weee off to the store.

Trying to decide if I want to deal with the hassle of getting on base to go to the case lot sale at the commissary.

Men DO NOT get hints. I flat out told him I would like a spa day or to stay by myself in a hotel for my birthday and apparently that hurt his feelings. And I don't get to do either one. Then he ASKED what I want to do for Mother's Day and I "jokingly" said, "Stay in a hotel by myself???" and he didn't say anything.

hahahahaha I guess he wonders why I want to spend so much time by myself!

It took me a bit to explain the solo vacation thing to DH, but he's down and understanding now. It's not like I want to go far away for days, one night away in a hotel that has a tv and a pool is good enough. Nothing fancy.

Moisture?

Mandy, men do not now and never will get what it's like being a mom 24/7/365. They don't do it! And they definitely don't get hints either.

I think I would be bored spending the night by myself at a hotel.
But all day at a spa being pampered? Where do I sign up?

Hahaha moisture! I was still confused about a mouse in your house and wondering why you weren't more concerned about a mouse loose in your house lol

The blinking light brought clarity lol

hahaha! Yes, I was totally confused, too. At first I thought you meant moisturizer...then you said blinking light so I was confused...lol

Then I saw MOUSE and I also thought you had a mouse in your house....for a second!

Ohhhh the reason I want to stay in a hotel (with a pool or hot tub) by myself is to just relax...nobody asking me to do something for them, no one crying for me to do something for them, no one bugging me. I can turn the AC as cold as I want, have the bed to myself, and just read in bed and go to sleep. Awh.

Someone come rescue me. I seriously am so tired. All Natalie wants to do is cry or nurse, but she has nursed me dry. She can't breath and is just miserable. I really wish infant tylenol actually put them to sleep.
