My son has one on his left upperarm. A cafe la tee spot I think they are called? Anyways, I love my son sooooo much and he is perfect in everyway... but I have to admit I'm a little worried about this. I don't want him to get made fun of as he gets older...... Should we get this removed? It's not GIANT or anything... it's just in a spot that will be visable and not readily covered up.... I just don't want him to have any problems because of it.
Anyone thought about having something like this removed? I know this is horrible of me. I must sound like the worst mother ever. I just don't want him to get made fun of
My 8 year old's birthmark is on her chin. Once in a while someone will tell her she has dirt on her chin but she just laughs and tells them it's her birthmark. It's part of who she is and she likes that. I wouldn't worry
Audrina has a "stork bite" on the back of her neck (nape). It's kind of neat because her grandpa on her daddy's side has the same one!
I will admit that I too was a bit worried that she might be self-conscious of it when she gets older and puts her hair up, but I've also read that many birthmarks get better and less visable as they age.
I would try not to worry too much about it now. Chances are it will never be a big deal for him!
Thank-you Bokkechick for the beautiful siggy!
