OMG I'm so stressed out! Savannah has her first playdate today. Actually in like 1.5 hours. Savannah had a great time at her last swim class with one of the other girls. We exchanged emails and here we are going to do playdates! I'm super happy, because I wanted to meet other moms and for Savannah to interact with other kids.
I'm not a strong outgoing person. I'm actually pretty quiet and reserved. So, now I have two pimples from being stressed and I'm starting to get nervous. I'm sure everything will be fine. I just work myself up.
We are invited over to her house to play. We will do lunch and maybe walk to the park too. She also got be to join her storybook/song playgroup on Fridays. Except this friday I have a funeral and the next two fridays I'm not in town.
I am jealous! I really want to meet other Moms with babies Brynlee's age, but it's hard when I work. I found a Mom group or whatever, but every.single one of them is a stay-at-home/military wife. They do meet ups at the mall or places for lunch during the week.
Had a great time! At first Savannah started to cry, but she stopped almost right away. She cried again when the other baby walked over to me and climbed up on me. I think she was jealous. She warmed up quickly and was playing with her toys. We ate lunch and then played some more.
At the end they both started getting tired for nap time, but as we were leaving they kept waving at each other and then both reached for each other through the screen door. So cute!
