That my life would no longer be at all about me. At.All.
People tell you that but you don't understand until your child is in your arms.

That family members would treat me like I don't know how to parent my daughter...in terms of being opinionated about everything I do or don't do.

Laundry. So much laundry. Sure you think it's just one, maybe two more loads... but it's not just washing. It's folding, putting away, sorting, getting rid of sizes down, making decisions on what to keep, finding places to keep the special things you do want. You forget that when you're a single person who doesn't grow anymore.

That things can be so complicated. Like, not being able to just go places like the tanning bed. And, working and putting her in daycare makes no sense 'cuz I wouldn't make hardly anything.

That such a small person can make very very very very BIG messes...and will seem to have a death wish while doing so.

And that it would physically hurt to see your child in pain.

But one smile can make ANYTHING better.

That as natural as breastfeeding is, it is HARD, especially in the beginning. If I had known that was true for others, I might have tried harder to get DS#1 to latch.

OMG Kayla, I would say the same about two, lol

I wish someone had told me to really enjoy the last few months before my first was born; to really relish the sleeping, the going out whenever, the going to the bathroom by myself, doing things with two hands instead of one, etc. You know your life is going to change, but it's all the little details you don't think about.

THIS!

If I could back to my past self with my one baby and tell me : "dude this is as easy as it is going to get"
(which myself would say what the $#$% are you saying?)

Also that babies are so much easier then preteens! Shoot 8 year olds for that matter. Although when I had one it seemed really really hard having the baby.

ohhhh and that after you have the baby you loose many many many brain cells, loose the ability to spell simple words, or speak in complete understandable sentences for at least a year.

This is so great!

Trying to think of something that hasn't been said...

I wish I knew that my baby would be so wakeful. I would have mentally prepared myself.

I wish I knew how fast this little guy was going to grow, so I wouldnt have spent so much money on each size of clothing.

(Anne- Colton has that same Gymboree shirt Lew is wearing! so cute)

When I had just 1 baby I thought it was kinda tough then after having 2 I realized I was really wrong then adding the 3rd just contributed to the chaos lol.

I wish I knew that I would not be able to use the bathroom alone anymore. I hate taking my two youngest ones in there with me but if I don't one of them always gets into some sort of trouble if I am away for 5 seconds.

I wish I knew that sick days would no longer be spent sleeping and getting well, but instead cleaning and doing laundry so no one else gets sick.

Also that my sick days would no longer be used for when I'm sick.
