When he had one he wore it all the time. He lost it about 2 years ago and we have yet to replace it. We're waiting until we can afford the one he really wants, his last one was a $30 Walmart ring.

Tim wears his about 50% of the time. Like me, he doesn't wear it unless he leaves the house. He also doesn't grab it if he's just going on a quick run to the store.

My sister says all married men should wear them at all times since it is a symbol of a covenant & it limits confusion for single women. I see what she means, but at the same time, HE knows he's married, & it only takes a second to tell a potential pursuer that he's taken if the situation presents itself.

April, Tim is also on his second ring! He bought the replacement himself though.

Dh has actually gotten questioned by people, mostly women for not wearing his ring. Nobody seems to want to believe he lost it. And he talks about me a lot so it's not like he's trying to hid being married.

Tim has never been questioned, but maybe that's because he almost always has it on when he leaves the house. And since he bought his own replacement ring, he was only without one maybe 3-4 weeks. We waited to see if it would turn up in the house somewhere, & when it didn't, we went & bought another one.

DH almost never takes his off except to sleep and shower. He is better about wearing it than me.

DH always has his on.

I, on the other hand, don't wear mine. I lost so much weight when I was pregnant that it fell off when Carter was a newborn and I lost it. Bought a new one in February that was still too big and then I found my original one a couple weeks ago. I need to get it resized so I can wear it again.

He hardly ever wears it and I wish he would. He feels it is a hazard at work and could get caught on something and injure him. He never remembers when not at home but if we are going out for a.nice supper or to a wedding or something and I ask him to wear it he will. I can't wear mine right now its too small

He now wears his 100% of the time. He used to be about 50%. Then I found out about his affair. He wears it now to help convince me he is dedicated to our marriage now.

I never wear mine and will never put them on again.

When Kyle was on a ship in some situations it was dangerous to wear it so he took it off otherwise he wears it 100% of the time.

DH almost always has his on. He takes it off to wash dishes and shower. He even sleeps in it. He had to take it off for surgery and I had it in my purse. The next day, he asked for it back even though he was just laying in a hospital bed for 6 days.

DH always wears his. He only takes it off to shower, then puts it right back on.

And I would throw a fit if I saw him without it...You can never be too careful!

Dh wears his all the time, to sleep, to shower, the only time he has ever taken it off is when he's doing something like changing oil in the cars, or using a saw, something like that. I also wear mine all the time, only take them off when I put lotion on.

Gah! Sore subject.

-I got him a really nice custom made, engraved ring which he lost 2 weeks after our honeymoon(and then seriously blamed the cat).
-Later I bought not 1, but 6, yes six, cheapy rings on E Bay(which surprisingly looked really nice. One in particular I liked better than his real ring)
-About a month after the babe was born he found his real ring in a moving box at the condo we own(where the cat had never been)

He wears it about once a month, if that .

i voted 50% of the time. DH cannot wear his ring to work because it's not safe. So a lot of time through the week he doesn't wear it unless we are going out. On the week-ends he wears it most of the time, unless he forgot to put it on.
I am happy with this because DH has NEVER liked rings and we bought a cheapy ring (stainless Steel) for his ring because he didn't know if he could handle wearing it. However he wears it much more than I thought.

I wear my ring ALL THE TIME. The only time i take it off is if i am doing something messy like baking or painting etc.

My dh wears his most of the time. His hands hurt at times so he'll take it off. I don't really like his ring now. It's just a plain gold band. When we got married, I saved and bought him a really nice ring but when our 2nd was born, we had to take our rings off at the NICU and he lost his. I bought the band later for him. Someday I want to get him a nice one again.

I on the other hand, almost never take mine off. I even wear it in the shower. It makes it shiny and I have a tendency to loose rings. This is the longest I've kept one
