anyone have any good tips on how to get the baby to sleep longer at night?

I know he can sleep through the night because he does sometimes...Last night he was up so much and then ready for the day at 5:30am...He eats plenty before bed and doesn't sleep too much during the day (I think just enough)...he usually has one longish nap in the late morning and then a shorter nap in the afternoon...I've never had a formula fed baby that didn't sleep through the night by now....I've been getting up to put his pacifire in his mouth instead of a bottle, and sometimes he'll go back to sleep, but not always.

I wish I could help, but Brooke has yet to sleep the entire night. Usually she only goes 3-4 hours then 2 more then maybe 1-2 more. I was told to try cereal at night or get into a bedtime routine, but it didnt work for me. Maybe it will for you.

I am in the same boat. She rarely goes more than 5 hours a stretch and more often 2-3. Ugh.
