anyone getting your baby a little swimming pool? if you have already, what does baby think of it?
I can't wait for it to get hot enough for one here...I think next time I go out i'll look for one for Jakob...My other kids always loved the little pools when they were babies...jakob loves the bath and he loves being outside, so I hope he likes it
Brooke has one and she loves it. When I take her out of it she cries and tries to get back in. It has a little sprinkler attached to it and the first time she wasnt too sure of it. She just looked puzzled but now she splashes around with it and tries to drink the water spraying out.
We're in Idaho and it doesn't get very hot here either. so no pool for us :/ I have one child that gets cold running through the sprinkler's here on a 90 something degree day because it's usually breezy out and doesn't feel like it's 90 degrees. At least not when you come from Texas. lol I like Idaho but I don't really want to live here forever. I miss warmth for more than 2 months out of 12. O.O

Owning a swimming pool is an investment in both time and money but is also a fun activity for every member of your family. Children and adults can benefit from having a backyard pool and it is important to keep the water clean and safe for all swimmers.
I would advise tub practice first.Dumping water over their heads, having them blink water out instead of always rubbing their face.
My 5 month old caught "pink-eye" from the pool.He had fun but it was not worth it.
