Things have been crazy around here...Starting last weekend, I got started on the 50 Shades Books, read all three in 4 days. So any free time was spent reading...Then we were running around doing doctors appointments and I had a job interview...didn't get the job because I am a girl and therefore incapable of doing manual labor...I was in the military for crying out loud...Idiots I swear.
Then we were birthday shopping for DF, my dad and my brother, June 30th, July 2nd and July 8th. Boom Boom Boom.
I promise to be on here more now lol.
Anyone in the midwest and east get hit by that storm last night? We did (Baltimore Area) and let me tell you it was a doozy. I had riley in the PNP in the living room because she wakes up with thunderstorms and its a good thing I did. I was outside admiring the storm cause I am a freak as DF says and just as he came outside, I pushed him back in and screamed to get the baby and get to the basement. The tornado sirens went off on Ft. Meade I heard them. Having lived in TX and on many Military bases that's just something I don't mess with. Poor kid was freaked out. So was DF, he had never witnessed my crazy-momma-bear-fight-off-the-tornado antics before. LOL. Needless to say everything was fine but we did have a lot of tree damage and there was debris everywhere. Wind gusts at 80 mph will do that I guess. We lost power for a few minutes and our cable and internet and phone was out until this evening sometime. So we just listened to music all day and then celebrated DF's birthday this evening with his parents.
I feel like I am going stir crazy...I am really in need of some alone time. No DF, No DD....Just me, myself and I. And maybe a little Christian Grey
I know exactly what you mean. I need a break, too. I also feel guilty about leaving her with family so i can have an hour or two. I live in CA though so I can't relate about storms. Summer is my town's dry season, but when we do get weather, it's generally Tstorm/rain. What I'm worried about is fire. Fire season for us is right around the corner.
Mom to a 2 year old baby girl, 2 week old baby boy, and one in Heaven.
In loving memory of our angel baby, with us for 4 weeks. Baby went to be with God July 24th, 2009.
