On her car seat it says "handle can be in any locked position when installed in the vehicle".
I read that most recent booster seat law during one of my many google searches trying different keywords looking for the supposed car seat handle law. My MIL is a childrens social worker. With all that that entails, I tend to trust what she says, but she may just be wrong on this, i really dont know.
Just thinking out loud here.. This may not be a law at all, but more of a saftety thing in general. Different car seats seem to recommend different positions for the handle while in a car. Why would a law be worded in a blanket statement like that when different car seats say different things? Well I'll try to get to the bottom of this tomorrow, contacting whoever I need to call to find out, then I'll post my findings here.
