Do you use it? If so, does it work well or do you have to pretty much wash the dishes before you load them? What kind do you have?

Yes I have one. Yes I use it. I do rinse all the gunk off before I load it though.

Love my dishwasher. I think it's the kitchen appliance I couldn't do without. We just rinse gunk off or pour water into pots amd things to soak for awhile before I put it in.

My FIL has one, but I rarely use it. Big family dinners are about the only time.

We have one and use it. We didn't have one for 7 years before we renovated. I can't believe I went that long without one! But we were childless and working all the time so it wasn't like we had a ton of dishes to do, which made it more bearable.

Nope dont have one. I remember being so excited about getting it when I was a kid and then it was like uh, I have to wash the stuff before putting it in here. Maybe they have improved a bit in the last 20 years though. Dish washing detergent crepes me out a bit, it seems so chemical and toxic that even though it gets rinsed off I wouldnt feel right eating off what is constantly exposed to it. I have no better reason for this than my gut feeling though. Call me weird.

In the summers growing up we lived on a farm and didn't have a dishwasher so it was my sister's and my job to do dishes. I hated it!

So now I make my 8 and 9 year olds do the dishes. I always tell them how easy they have it because we have a dishwasher. But yes, rinse them first, but not scrub.

We do, but I do have to rinse the dishes off really well before I put them in or they come out with dried gunk on them. I'm at work so I can't check, I'm not sure which brand it is, but I'm pretty sure it was the cheapest one out there that the previous owners put in.

We have one, and we never use it. Our hard water makes it about impossible to get them clean.
