You miss about LO being a baby? (Like, before they were sitting up, rolling or mobile, kind of baby.)

What's one thing you don't miss?

Oh my gosh. I have an easier time answering the what I don't miss question...

I do not really like the newborn stage very much. I do miss her taking naps on me and cuddling. I also miss how much DH helped back then! He was very involved.

I don't miss how hard breastfeeding was as far as latching and not being able to BF without the nipple shield. I don't miss being up all night long or every hour. I don't miss her pooping in the middle of the night either. I hated that!! Then she would be up from me having to change her.

I miss him just being so little, how after dinner DH would sometimes watch the girls and me and him would go up to my bedroom and just relax together. I loved how he smelled, hes slowly loosing that perfect baby smell and its sad!

I don't miss the 5x+ night time wakings lol.

I miss her happily hanging in her infant carrier seat when we were out to breakfast or dinner, or going to the mall. Now she's spaztastic about everything. We are on the clock the minute we arrive at a restaurant.

I don't miss breastfeeding or getting up in the middle of the night to tend to her needs.

I miss being able to put him some place and walking away and him still being in that place when I came back.

I don't miss the hours long nursing sessions.

Oh yes! I forgot how nice it was to not wonder where she went when I took 3 seconds to pee!

I miss how light she was compared to now, lol. Luckily, I mostly just get her out of the car and she walks whereever we are going...within reason.

I miss everything about him being little! I miss stroking his little blonde head, his toothless smile, his tiny feet, and watching him get the biggest grin on his face while nursing/sleeping. I miss dressing him in his tiny clothes and cloth diapers. He was such a sweet newborn

What I don't miss: I would say night time wakings, but OH YEAH, we still do that! I guess I don't miss having to hold him SO much.

I miss the newborn stage so much! I miss the long feedings, cuddling him, carrying him all curled up in the wrap, every cry meant something instead of a fit, the rapid weight loss... lol I miss it all!

Not being mobile. I'd say temper tantrums, but back then it was colic. 6-12mths was my fav. I am HATING 1yr olds. Seriously, Silas just has a colossal temper tantrum all day. Ayla is busy, and usually okay, but has her moments too. I hate that their forming opinions.

I miss how easily she would fall asleep.

I don't miss that she would not gain weight and lost so much and the stress that came with that and breastfeeding.

I miss when she would cuddle and sleep on me. She's been so independent since she started being able to get around. She always wants down and away from me to explore.

I don't miss fighting the gas and constipation to get her to sleep just in time for her to wake up to eat again.

I miss how easy it was to change his diapers. He flips and turns and crawls away when getting his diapers changed now. I also miss him staying where I put him.

I don't miss the multiple nightly feedings BUT I'll soon have to deal with it again.

I miss his baby smell, holding him while he peacefully nurses, I miss him sleeping cuddled on my chest, I miss stroking his head while he slept on my lap. There is so much I miss about him being a newborn, I feel like I blinked and it was over.

I dont miss the night wakings wait I still do that hmm. Im not really sure what I dont miss he is pretty easy going.

Ditto ditto, I miss it all too. I love newborns, I would happily repeat my entire labor if I could rewind and start the year over.
The thing I miss most is that baby smell. I love that newborn smell.

What I dont miss.......not getting sleep. She still wakes up in the night but all I do is bring her in bed with me and she goes right back to sleep.

In a way I miss the night feedings, for a while that was the only time she would quietly nurse without doing acrobatics... but on the whole I don't miss breastfeeding.

One thing I miss is him falling asleep on my chest and being perfectly content.

One thing I don't miss is him learning how to latch...ouch!
