Anyone going to the pumpkin patch in the coming weeks?
I think we'll go the weekend of our Canadian Thanksgiving (Oct 8th). We don't get big pumpkins because we don't have a front porch, but we get lots of the little pie-pumpkins to use for cooking and for the kids to decorate.
I've been waiting for fall/halloween season since I got pregnant haha. We took her to a halloween/craft pumpkin patch thing this weekend. It was small but so much fun. I have to download the pictures from the camera still but here is some from my phone
I'm so looking forward to it, I was hoping soon since our temps dropped (81 degrees yesterday to 55 today) and now it's officially fall. I also want to go to a local mountian state park and take pictures of her in the leaves!! I LOVE Fall!!
I plan on it, probably in October as well. There is one not too far from us that has a lot of activities for children, all of which Lydia is still too young for. However, we plan to go get pumpkins and of course take a few pics of the LO!
More fundamental than religion is our basic human spirituality. We have a basic human disposition towards love, kindness and affection, irrespective of whether we have a religious framework or not. When we nurture this most basic human resource – when we set about cultivating those basic inner values which we all appreciate in others, then we start to live spiritually. - Dalai Lama
LOL Lauren! No.. there are none of these pumpkin patches, apple picking adventures, or corn mazes down here. ..at least none that I've ever heard of. LOL. There ARE people with lots of pumpkins on the side of the road. You can get creative with your camera!
& temps hit 98 here today. We're not quite ready to call summer quits yet. haha.
