I got up with the girls, heard a smash... cat jumped on the counter and knocked a glass down. Gate up the girls and glean the glass. Kairi yells at me, she failed to mention she had to go pee and decided since she couldn't get past the gate she would just pee on the floor. Get her into the bath and clean the floor. Look over and see Alexis has gotten a hold of a pen... and is scribbling on the couch. Clean that, get Kairi out of the bath, fresh clothes, open the gate, make a full pot of coffee and finally, finally sit down.

It's Monday alright.

I better not have anything else to share today.

How are you ladies doing?

Hurtin'! Got the aforementioned crotch pain and what I assume is ligiment pain radiating accross the pelvic region. Hurts to walk, hurts to sit, hurts to bed. Going to be a very unproductive Monday back at work.

HOLY CRAP! That is a busy day already.

My only complaint is not getting up to work out.

So far, *knocks on wood*, everything is going okay. I just looked at the clock and realized that I've been at work for 1.5 hours and just now opened a student file to start assessing her. Oops. Oh well, it is Monday.

Nobody ever lets me get any god **** sleep. I didn't get to sleep until 2am because alex woke up right when i fell asleep at 11ish and stayed up for 2 hours. Then dh gets up at 5:30, comes to say bye at 6 right after i fall back asleep, then some debt collected calls me as soon as i fall back asleep, when i call them back they can't give me any info besides that it's for an exterminator (that i've never used) because it's too early for them to call the west coast and the computer won't pull up my account before they are allowed to call me (i was like 'YOU CALLED ME THIS EARLY and now you can't even do anything?'). So then when i finally managed to stop worrying about that mess long enough to fall back asleep, alex woke up. I give up...

Can i add that alex is apparently going to FREAK OUT about everything today. She's currently sitting on the floor crying because i wouldn't let her go out the front door when dh was leaving.

I read a really really neat research article which might shed some light on why she does this: BBC News - The myth of the eight-hour sleep

My monday moan: DH has been combining for 3 weeks, which means he leaves the house at 8am and doesn't come home until at least 11pm, 7 days a week. We have had no time together at all. They area finishing up tomorrow (horay!) just in time for me to fly out to BC with Avery to visit my family for a week. Not that I am not totally excited to see my family, but the timing is a little bit crappy!

Both of my kids have runny noses, and I know it comes from Layla's classmates.
I also kept Layla home from school. I keep thinking about the day's tuition wasted.

My kids are still sickish, I will probably have to keep Kaitlyn home from school another day tomorrow. My night however wasn't TOO bad. Dominic was up 3 times with the earliest being 3:45.

I got up early to clean since school starts back tomorrow for dh AND I. Took Lilli to school, and since she hasn't been in 2 weeks, she FREAKS out. I had to stay and help her eat breakfast. Came home, started cleaning. Dh slept til 10, then told me that his grandma called and his family is 300 miles from us and is coming!! I love the last minute notice!
