Growing up i always had an idea of how far apart i wanted my children. Well you don't know much about children until you have one, especially how much they cost! So even though i wanted them 2 years apart, that isn't exactly feasible right now. I didn't realize that once i had one kid that it would kind of set my plan in motion. Except that i stopped that plan real quick

anyway, what are your ideal ages for your kids...

I would like to have a 3 year age gap between kenz and the next one, and then about the same for the next one... so i'd have kenzie being 6 while #2 is 3 and the littles is newborn.

what works for you?

I always thought 2 years OR 4-5 years.

I was always fearful of the 3-4 year space beacuse my sister is 3.5 years older. She also thought the reason we didn't get along was that were weren't close enough in age to relate and not far enough space for the nuturing role to kick in. This was her theory.

My theory: we didn't get along cuz she was a b*tch.

Growing up I always thought I'd have my kids close, but once Jacob got here I thought no ****** way! We thought for sure we'd be having our second when Jacob went to Kindergarten...then he turned a year old and come thing clicked. Didn't help that I got my period back a month later. So LOs will be 25 mos apart. I'll let y'all know how it goes lmao!!!

We want all of ours to be two years apart. So far, so good! This newest little one will be almost exactly 2 years younger that Lilo.

We wanted two years apart and that is exactly what we are getting! Haha.. Now of course I am a little freaked out by the idea but I am sure we will figure it out. I actually was thinking right before we found out we were pregnant that we would put off trying until Tessa was two but obviously that didn't happen I think it will be hectic when they are little but really nice when they are older. I didn't have any siblings closer then 4 years to me and while we are close we would probably be more like friends now if we were closer in age. I think you go off of when you feel ready. If you need time between each child then take it

I wanted no more than two years. Had we not lost our baby that would have happened...but we are moving on to FET in October. If that is a success our LOs will be 29 months... so still a two year gap in school which is what I am going for. I think 2-3 years is okay now. I am 8 and 10 years older than my sisters and HATE it... I am more of a mom to them then a sister and it sucks... Now they are super close and great friends to each other only being two years apart.

Ours will be (just shy of) 2 years apart. We wanted somewhere between 1.5 and 3 years, so hey, it worked!.
