Dont really have leftovers here....but one day is good.
Freezing is a good idea when making really large batches of food to be served another time or portions of it that could used to make another different meal.
consecutive days - usually just one and then if still leftovers I'll usually try and skip a day before serving again to DH. I sometimes will eat leftover 2 days in a row if leftovers are served for dinner the night before and just enough left for 1 person I'll sometimes eat for lunch again the next day.
With leftover meat I sometimes will eat 2 days in a row but in a different form. Like chicken or steak I may put into a salad so totally different from the day before or into a sandwich. Pulled pork I'll make into tacos and quesadillas for lunch or dinner. Rib meat I'll use on sandwich.
